The Heavenly Inspiration Behind Heavenly Notes

Sometimes, real life has a way of defining our purpose in ways we don’t want and certainly don’t expect. We hear many inspirational, beautiful stories of positive events leading to our true calling. Unfortunately, my inspiration was born from great pain.

In December of 2023, my best friend, Tyler, passed away suddenly. It was a shock, he was young, in his 50s, and on the mend from a hospitalization and looking forward to going home soon. No one expected their last conversations with him would be the last time they would hear his voice. This was devastating to me, to his parents and to all who knew him, and there were many. Tyler was the type of person who had never met a stranger and knew everyone’s stories. He possessed a joy and kindness that illuminated the lives of everyone.

Just six short weeks later, in February of 2024, my Dad passed away. The bond between a father and daughter is strong and holds a special place in a daughter’s heart, but he was more than that for me—he was my role model, protector and first superhero. It's a universal truth that when a parent is gone, all you can wish for is just one more day with them, one more chance to hear their voice or feel their presence.

My world came crashing down after losing both of them. This has left a void that words can barely describe. I find myself clinging to memories and moments, wishing for a way to turn back time. All I had left was a devastating and profound sense of emptiness. The weight of their absence is a constant reminder of how deeply they shaped my life and how profoundly they will be missed.

For months, I struggled to get through each day. Sometimes, I was unaware of how I made it through the day. I was overwhelmed by the sadness of loss and the heaviness of my grief. Then, one night, I awoke from a deep sleep with an idea that came from my Dad and Tyler that seemed heaven-sent. It was this fantastic, beautiful idea that no one must feel this way after a loved one passes. No one should have to experience this pain and certainly no one wants their surviving loved ones to experience it either.

The idea is so simple: Now is the time to tell your loved ones how you feel, leave your legacy, tell your story, and bring them hope for their future after you have passed. You can bring happiness, surprises, and hope for the future in your absence…. we make that possible with Heavenly Notes.

And for those of you who do not identify with heaven, we have Love Notes and Naughty Notes.
